About Us
Since we moved to Badachro in September 2012
we have loved every aspect of living here;
the scenery, wildlife, the lifestyle
and the friends we have made.
Ceomara Holiday Cottages keep us busy year round and we have been extremely pleased with the positive feedback received from those who stay with us.
They seem to love the situation of the cottages and the stunning view of the bay and Torridon mountains beyond as much as we do; they appreciate the cleanliness of the properties and the fact that they are extremely well equipped and comfortable: “home from home”.
We strive hard to maintain this standard; we want visitors to enjoy their stay and hopefully to return and, ideally, recommend us to others.

Sue and Tom Watson, your hosts.

Many guests return and we are very grateful that they do. One loyal couple has visited for the past 9 years, with another recording their sixth visit this year. Of the 45 different groups that have booked with us so far this year, 9 have visited before.
We also have visitors from Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Germany staying with us during 2015. It is lovely to see people enjoying the area and making full use of all that it has to offer.
More and more of our visitors ask to bring their dogs with them, (on a couple of occasions we have also had cats staying with us!). We are more than happy to accommodate dogs as long as owners agree to our Terms & Conditions for Dog Guests.
We are dog owners and the area is a doggy paradise! Our local pub Badachro Inn allows dogs on leads into the bar. People have acted very responsibly and, in the majority of cases, you wouldn’t know that an animal had been staying in the cottage.
Take a look at some recent entries to our Visitors Book. We even have our first poem penned at Ceomara Cottages. Here it is:
Ode to Ceomara
A full week of bliss and some catch up time,
Badachro peaceful; the week was sublime;
For walks aplenty – away from the “Blogs”,
For four old friends and their two sausage dogs.
Best picnic beach, with crystal blue sea,
You recommended – and we all agree.
Mellon Udrigle at Gruinard Bay
Simply delightful – what more can we say.
We travelled to Ullapool to the famed, “Ceilidh Place”
And heard ‘Breabrach’ play pipe and fiddle at pace.
And then Poolewe Market, oh what a find,
For sweet salad leaves and strawberry meringue.
And so we must leave you, we all say Adieu.
Good-bye Ceomara, farewell Tom and Sue.
