Welcome to Ceomara Highland Cottages

Ceomara Highland Cottages are two contemporary, stylish and cosy self-catering holiday cottages with an enviable position in the picturesque former fishing village of Badachro, having far-reaching and exceptional views across the bay to the Torridon Mountains.

Under new ownership, the cottages were extensively refurbished in 2007 with further improvements for 2008. They offer excellent holiday accommodation for a relaxing retreat to escape from it all or from which to explore this rugged, unspoilt and breath taking area of Wester Ross.

Each cottage is ideal for a couple, but can sleep up to 4 adults. Both cottages are non-smoking and provide accommodation for adult guests only.

Beautiful and outstanding views can be enjoyed from the open plan living area, the south facing patio and the bedrooms.The cottages are converted from an original steading building and they are adjacent to 'Ceomara', the owners home.

Watch by day an endless variety of birds, wildlife and sunrises and by night an intensely dark winter sky filled with the brightest stars you have ever seen.

Badachro offers a sense of the beautiful remoteness of the West Highlands, but with all the facilities and shops at Gairloch within easy reach just a 5 mile drive away.

Within the village and only a short and very scenic 10 minute walk around the bay, is the traditional Badachro Inn. Here you can enjoy food and ale and sit on the decking at the edge of the shore watching the boats coming and going and the seals playing in the water. Raptures, a small excellent restaurant is another option for eating out in the village.The closest sandy beach is 2 miles away at Opinan and there are walks for all abilities and levels of fitness.
