Terms & Conditions of Booking

Bookings are subject to the following Terms & Conditions:

  • Guests are requested to arrive at Ceomara Highland Cottages anytime after 4pm on the first day of their stay and to vacate on the last day by 10.00am.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total fee is required at the time of booking. The final outstanding amount becoming due 6 weeks prior to the start date of the booking. Should the booking be made within 6 weeks of the start of the holiday, the total fee is payable immediately. Payment is accepted by cheque (£ sterling).
  • Electricity for heating, light and cooking is included in the tariff, as is bed linen, tea towels a welcome pack and many other useful items. Personal towels can be hired in advance if required.
  • Free, fast speed WiFi is provided for the use of guests during your stay. This is provided mainly for checking emails and browsing the internet. We request that guests are considerate with the amount of streamimg and downloading, so as to keep speeds as fast as possible for all users.
  • The garden and picnic benches in-front of the cottages can be enjoyed by holiday makers. The owners (whose home is adjacent to the cottages) request the rest of the garden remain for their private use.
  • We take great care and attention to ensure your cottage is very clean, tidy and welcoming for your arrival. At the end of your stay, we would be grateful if you could leave the cottage in the same condition it was found. Should extra cleaning be required as a result of your stay, an appropriate fee will be charged.
  • Please notify the owner promptly of any breakages or damage, so that these can be rectified for your stay and also for any future guests. It may be necessary to levy a charge in some cases.
  • In order to provide a comfortable environment for all our guests, smoking is strictly not permitted in or around the cottages or in the garden area.
  • The owners reserve the right to charge a goodhouse keeping deposit, should they deem this necessary.
  • The names of the guests staying at the cottage must be detailed on the booking form, and shall not exceed 4 in each cottage. Any deviations from the booking form details must be notified, in advance to the owner. Only those guests detailed on the booking form may use any of the cottage facilities.
  • With regret, Ceomara Highland Cottages do not accept children or pets.
  • Should the holiday maker need to cancel the booking, the owner should be notified as soon as possible and the cancellation must be confirmed in writing. Cancellation charges are 40% of the balance if within 4 weeks of the start date of the holiday, 60% if within 3 weeks and 80% if within 2 weeks. The full balance is withheld if less than 14 days of cancellation is given. If the period can be re-booked, a full refund of the balance may be possible, with the deduction of £30 to cover administration.
  • It is strongly recommended that you take out holiday insurance, to cover against all eventualities.
  • In the unlikely event that the property were to become unavailable the owners obligation and liability would be limited to refunding in full all monies paid by the holiday maker.
  • The owners shall not be under any liability to the holiday maker or third parties for any accident or loss or damage, however arising.
  • The owners reserve the right to cease the holiday let at any time during the stay, without refund, if they feel a serious breach of the above terms and conditions has taken place.
