Having fallen in love with the Highlands and Badachro in particular, Sue Hulley and Simon Crookes have made their home at Ceomara (Gaelic for 'seamist') in this magical part of Wester Ross and they are proud to offer Ceomara Highland Cottages as delightful self-catering holiday accommodation.

They are passionate about creating the best possible standards of comfort for their guests, and have breathed new life into the cottages, with fresh colour, imagination and an attention to detail which provides uniquely contemporary, elegant and stylish holiday accommodation

Sue and Simon are very environmentally aware and recycle, compost, use energy saving and environmentally sound products as much as possible in their own home and in the cottages.

Having spent many years having self-catering holidays themselves, they have often struggled to find pet friendly, quality accommodation in an idyllic setting. As they are now lucky enough to have found these cottages in such a fantastic location, they are very pleased to offer Ceomara Highland Cottages number 2 for pet friendly holidays.

Sue and Simon have continued in their careers in the Highlands as well as providing holiday accommodation. Sue is a Veterinary Surgeon and working part-time for Conanvets provides regular companion animal surgeries in Gairloch, for the local community and visitors to the area. She enjoys gardening, especially tending to her new raised vegetable beds, wildlife, walking the dogs and pilates.

Simon works as a Geologist off shore. When he is at home he is a keen guitarist and very much enjoys cooking and a game of golf. He is learning to fly fish and also goes sea angling locally. Both he and Sue really enjoy the outdoors, watching the wildlife and foraging for wild food, especially mushrooms. They are presently searching for a boat so they can take advantage of living on the edge of one of the most fantastic, sheltered bays in the country.

If during your stay you require any information, they are available to help. But they respect the privacy of their guests and if you so wish, you will hardly know they are there.
